    You can make homemade cranberry sauce….

    Prep
    10 min

    Cook
    7 min
    Total:
    17 min

    Ingredients

    * 1 pound fresh cranberries, washed and dried
    * 2 cups granulated sugar
    * 1/3 cup water
    * 1 cinnamon stick
    * 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
    * 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    * 1 orange, zested and juiced

    Directions

    In a medium pot, combine the cranberries, sugar and water. Stir to blend. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. Reduce to a simmer and add the cinnamon stick, allspice and nutmeg. Stir to blend and simmer for an additional 5 to 7 minutes. Some of the cranberries will burst and some will remain whole. Add the orange juice and zest, stir and allow to cool before serving.

    Get 2 big cans of yams, 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of cinnimon, 2 sticks of butter very soft, mix it all together, put it in a pan, put marshmellows all over it, bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until marshmellows are a golden brown, or medium dark brown.

    My favorite dish ever, and extremely good!

    hmm i like dressin. where im from, we eat dressin like a casserole, instead of stuffing it up the turkey.
    we also just take a can of cranberry sauce(without the chunks of cranberries) and put it in a dish to eat with stuff. or plain. i eat it like jello plain. macoroni and cheese pie is great. its like macoroni and cheese, but less pasta more.. casserole. like i said, lol. fruit salad.. um.. lemon pie.. black eyed peas. green beans. creamed corn. fried chicken(because i hate turkey). anyways, you can google a good southern version of any of the aforementioned recipes. sorry im not much help. good luck though!

    i hope you’ll love this, its my favorite food and you can make it under 5 minutes, its an easy quesadilla recipe,, things you will need,

    (Premiumm deli, angus beef,that’s a must need or any other sliced meat or thinly cut, then any thinly chopped mexican cheese,ortega taco sauce, pickled/ jarred pepperoncini and maybe some tortilla spices, all from a supermarket)

    first you need any type of flour bread, lay it across, sprinkle a pinch of tortilla spice all over the bread, next cut the angus beef in 4 pieces and lay it across one side of the bread( you can use 2 if needed), lay 2 tsp of taco sauce over the beef so it would be equally spread out, cut up the pepperoncini and make sure the stem and the seeds are put away, because it’s bad for you, and it would be crunchy/chunky. Only one pepper needed and make sure you spread it over the top of the layers so it could spread. Then put some cheese on the top so its spreading, close the quesadilla, and put it inside of a george foreman grilling cooker, i very recommend searching it online so you know how it looks like, its my favorite recipe i made, i never grew tired of it, and it converted a lot of people to liking mexican food. If you wouldent like wasting your money in this economy cook it in the microwave for 1 or two minutes.

    for the grilling machine make sure its closed, and let it cook for 2-3 minutes and check on it, so it would have burning looking dents or just the cheese to melt.

    the forman machine tastes alot better

    hope this helps

    there are a lot of recipes on recipes.com or allrecipes.com with ratings. Or keep it simple and do baked sweet potatoes, spinach salad with mandarin oranges and slivered almonds, rolls and pumpkin pie. Have everyone bring an appetizer and a bottle of wine.

    dressing, rolls, salad, green beans, ham, yams, potatoes salad, sweet potato pie, velvet cake, pecan pie, etc…i’m not good with recipes but i always get mines off of allrecipes.com

    but the rolls & potatoes salad n you can buy at grocery store. just make a basic salad, use canned green beans with season and onions. the pies you can buy from your local bakery. if all else fails, order everything from grocery store(deli section) or restaurant and place the food in your own glassware before everyone gets there,lol

    Hope this helps!!

    Try this “autumn soup” – it’s squash, carrot and spices, basically, but it’s really warming and tasty. Easy to make, too. You can substitute butternut squash for pumpkin if you want.

    Okay,…how about this? Cranberry Grape Compote

    1 package (12 oz) fresh or frozen ( no need to thaw)
    3 cups seedless red grapes
    1 cup sugar
    1/8 teaspoon salt

    1, In a large saucepan over medium-high, bring cranberries, grapes, sugar, and 1/2 cup water to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer until most of the cranberries have popped and grapes are falling apart. 10 to 15 minutes.

    2. Remove from heat; add salt and stir to combine. Let cool to room temperature (compote will thicken as it cools). Refrigerate in container in an airtight container upu to 2 weeks. Werve at room temperature. Makes 4 cups. Double recipe if needed.
